On the evening of September 2, thousands of people flocked to Nguyen Hue walking street and Bach Dang wharf park to watch fireworks to celebrate the 79th anniversary of National Day.
"This is a meaningful occasion to have a memorable holiday with friends," said Quoc An (Binh Thanh).
At 9 p.m., the first high-altitude fireworks were launched into the sky of Ho Chi Minh City.People had 15 minutes to admire colorful fireworks displays.
The weather on the evening of September 2nd was cool and clear, favorable for performing and observing fireworks.
Families capture meaningful images with fireworks. "The fireworks this year are beautiful. Every time I go to see them, I feel joyful and have different memories with my family," said Ms. Lan Anh (District 7).
