Hai Duong strives to have at least 26 more advanced new rural communes and 12 model new rural communes by the end of 2025.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province requested the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to send the list of communes registered to strive to build advanced and model new rural areas in 2025 to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development before January 15 for synthesis and reporting to the Provincial People's Committee. Before April 15, complete the direction and guidance for communes to prepare dossiers requesting recognition of advanced and model new rural areas and send them to the departments, branches and organizations of the province for appraisal.
Relevant departments and branches proactively guide localities in the process of completing dossiers for examination and appraisal to ensure compliance with the set time and roadmap; summarize difficulties and problems to report to the Provincial People's Committee and study and advise on mechanisms and policies to support localities in building advanced and exemplary new rural areas...
Hai Duong currently has 65 communes recognized as meeting advanced new rural standards (accounting for 43.04%) and 19 communes recognized as meeting model new rural standards (12.6%).
According to the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress and the target assigned by the Government, Hai Duong strives to have 20% of communes meeting model new rural standards, 60% of communes meeting advanced new rural standards and 3 districts meeting advanced new rural standards by the end of 2025.
