Joy after the article of the district radio reporter

20 years - a long period of time has left me with many experiences in the profession with unforgettable memories. Every person I met, every scene, every article left deep impressions and feelings in me. Those are examples of poor students determined to study well, those are teachers who overcome difficulties wholeheartedly for their beloved students, farmers competing in production, doing business well, getting rich on their homeland, typical examples in building new rural areas... Those are sometimes the minutes of "rushing" into the Covid-19 epidemic, the trips with volunteer groups to Ha Giang, Dien Bien provinces, the times when pregnant, still wading on slippery rice fields...

20 years in the profession, I don't remember how many news and articles I have written, but perhaps the article I remember the most is "Thai Tan white national standard school" I wrote 10 years ago. The article was rated 10 points by the District Radio Station (normally each article is 7-8 points), published in Hai Duong newspaper. At that time, Thai Tan commune - the area I was in charge of - had many difficulties in terms of school facilities, it was the only commune in the district where none of the 3 schools met the standards. Teachers and students still had to study in level 4 houses, roofed with fibro cement. Feeling sorry for the teachers and disadvantaged students, I felt a surge of emotion wanting to write. The article received a positive response. Not long after, the facilities of schools in Thai Tan were invested in and built. Now all 3 schools are spacious, including 2 kindergartens and primary schools that meet national standards level 2. The secondary school is also striving to build national standards level 2.

I dare not think that my writing has "weight" but only feel a little proud that I have emotions, dare to think and boldly write. And now I feel happy when seeing teachers and students have better conditions for teaching and learning.

Thanks to the journalism profession for giving me many experiences, I feel happy to be attached to the job that I love, even though it is sometimes hard and stressful. Loving and proud of the profession, I am always aware that I must try to practice, to have a "bright mind, pure heart, sharp pen".
