The Ministry of Education and Training guides candidates in handling some situations that arise when paying university admission fees.
According to the ministry's schedule, candidates pay university admission fees from July 31 to August 6 online.
Fee payment schedule by province and city is as follows:

Payment channels
Candidates pay fees online through one of 17 payment channels on the National Public Service Portal.
In which, banking channels include: Vietcombank, Vietinbank, Agribank, BIDV, SHB; VPBank, TPBank.
Payment intermediaries: Other banks via VNPT Money, Ngan Luong, KeyPay, Payoo, Napas, HPay (each of these contacts includes most of the banks operating in Vietnam).
E-wallets: VNPT Money, Momo, Viettel Money.
Mobile payment channel: VNPT Mobile Money.
How to handle arising situations
Situation | Cause/Solution |
Can't see "Checkout" button | - Payment schedule is not correct according to province/city. - The payment system is overloaded. |
No bank account/e-wallet | - Go to the bank/e-wallet transaction point to register an account. Candidates in remote areas can go to VNPT Post or Viettel Post post offices to register a wallet account, deposit money or ask for payment. - Ask someone else to pay for you. |
Have a bank account but have not registered for electronic banking services | Contact the bank to register for the service or ask someone else to pay on your behalf. |
Money has been deducted but no success notification is seen on the admission system | Contact the payment channel hotline or the admission system switchboard to report and receive support (the money deducted from this transaction will be refunded later). |
Transaction is successful but the screen does not automatically return to the admission system page or returns but requires login | Log back into the system to check: Successful transaction status means the candidate has completed the fee payment. |
Unable to pay fees due to system congestion | - Do not access again immediately, wait about 15-30 minutes and then access again. - Check your bank account/e-wallet information to do it again when the system returns to normal. - Call the support hotline or notify the school's IT teacher if you have tried accessing it several times but it is still unsuccessful. |
The Ministry encourages candidates to access using a personal computer, tablet or smartphone with a large enough screen (full HD resolution 1920x1080), using the latest version of Google Chrome or FireFox browser.
At one time, candidates can only log into the system on one device, so they should use channels that support quick payment using QR codes.
Do not close the browser until you receive the final notification. In case of difficulty, candidates or parents can contact the Hotline for instructions or switch to another payment channel.

In case of general support, please contact hotline 1800 8000 extension 2.
In addition, candidates can contact teachers at high school for support.
