Vietnam's No. 1 female tennis player returns to the top 20 in the 2023 world badminton rankings.

According to the update of the world badminton rankings (November 28), tennis player Nguyen Thuy Linh rose 2 places to rank 20th. Nguyen Thuy Linh achieved the above achievement by reaching the quarterfinals of the China Masters 2023 in Shenzhen, China. She accumulated 6,050 more points to reach a total of 48,200 points.

At the China Masters - a tournament under the World Tour Super 750 system of the Badminton World Federation (BWF), Nguyen Thuy Linh excellently defeated two strong opponents, Marin Carolina (ranked 5th in the world) and Line Hojmark Kjaersfeldt (ranked 20th in the world).
