According to a survey by Hai Duong Newspaper reporters at some traditional markets such as Ninh Giang town market, Ngoc Hoa market in Vinh Hoa commune (Ninh Giang), Tuan Viet market (Kim Thanh), Dong Ngo Quyen market (Hai Duong city), the demand for some items such as green vegetables, aquatic products, and seafood has increased slightly because people buy a lot of these foods to prepare some dishes to prevent boredom.
Specifically, cauliflower is 10,000 VND/head, cabbage is 7,000-10,000 VND/head, kohlrabi is 7,000-8,000 VND/root, celery is 10,000 VND/bunch, mustard greens are 4,000-7,000 VND/bunch... These prices have increased by 1,000-3,000 VND compared to before Tet.
Some types of seafood increased in price such as crispy carp at 150,000 VND/kg, up 10,000 VND/kg; grass carp at 75,000 VND/kg, up 5,000 VND/kg. Meanwhile, the prices of some types of meat, aquatic products and seafood remained stable such as: pork at 100,000-120,000 VND/kg depending on the type, beef at 240,000-290,000 VND/kg, tiger prawn at 250,000-450,000 VND/kg, catfish at 120,000 VND/kg, carp at 60,000 VND/kg, clams at 18,000-20,000 VND/kg...
