Supermarkets also launch many promotional programs with an average discount of 20-30% of product value to stimulate consumer demand.

Supermarkets have extended their opening hours by 30 minutes to 2 hours compared to normal days, and have added more cashier counters and staff to ensure customers do not have to wait long to pay. Supermarkets are open to serve customers until noon and afternoon on the 30th of Tet.
