At the meeting and dialogue on the morning of October 31 between Chairman of Chi Linh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Kien and people of Van Duc and An Lac wards, people requested that land management and use must be more reasonable, economical and effective...
The meeting and dialogue were attended by 150 people from Van Duc and An Lac wards and 36 opinions and recommendations were recorded and focused on resolving.
The content of the opinions revolved around land management and use. Some opinions said that the locality was slow in handling land granted without authority to create resources for infrastructure construction of villages and communes in the past. In Chi Linh city, there are still over 2,000 such cases, but most of them do not have enough related documents. The authorities of the communes and wards concerned must proactively review and classify them to report and submit to competent authorities for consideration and handling according to the provisions of law.
In addition, residents of the two wards also petitioned about the discharge of waste and dust causing environmental pollution from industrial parks and large factories. The Hai Duong BOT Thermal Power Plant in Kinh Mon town regularly causes noise and dust affecting some localities in Chi Linh.
Some roads in villages and residential areas have been donated land, cleared, and built foundations by local people since 2021 - 2022, but construction has not yet begun...
The leaders of Chi Linh City People's Committee have received the opinions of the people and directed the handling of existing local problems such as many degraded internal traffic routes in residential areas of Kenh Mai, Dong Xa (Van Duc ward), Bo Ne, Bo Da (An Lac ward). Relevant departments and units are requested to work with Van Duc Ward People's Committee to handle some points lacking traffic safety signs on the roads of Ben Do, Bich Nham, Vinh Dai residential areas... The city leaders also assigned some departments and offices to handle groups of issues on urban management; land management, environmental protection; developing clean agriculture, high-tech agriculture, combined with supporting the promotion and consumption of agricultural and forestry products; problems in some kindergartens; the deterioration of medical stations; grassroots cultural institutions...
