According to the bulletin issued at 8:00 a.m. on September 8 by the Hai Duong Province Hydrometeorological Station, at 7:00 a.m. on September 8, the center of the tropical depression (due to the weakening of storm No. 3) was located at about 21.3 degrees North latitude, 104.7 degrees East longitude, on the mainland in the northwest region. The strongest wind near the center of the tropical depression is level 6 (39-49 km/h), gusting to level 7, moving westward at a speed of 10-15 km/h.

It is forecasted that due to the influence of the tropical depression, today, September 8, Hai Duong province will have moderate to heavy rain, with rainfall in common places as follows:

In the northeastern region of the province (Chi Linh city, Kinh Mon, Kim Thanh, Nam Sach, Thanh Ha districts), rainfall is generally 30-60 mm, with some places over 60 mm.

In the southwestern region of the province (districts of Cam Giang, Binh Giang, Thanh Mien, Gia Loc, Tu Ky, Ninh Giang and Hai Duong city), rainfall is generally 20-50 mm, higher in some places.

The provincial Hydrometeorological Station also warned that through monitoring weather radar cloud images, thunderstorms developing in Bac Ninh and Hung Yen provinces are moving towards Hai Duong province. At the same time, convective clouds are also developing strongly in Thanh Mien, Binh Giang, Cam Giang, Nam Sach districts, and Hai Duong city of Hai Duong province. In the next few hours, these convective cloud areas will continue to move and develop, causing showers and thunderstorms in the above districts and then spreading to other districts of Hai Duong province such as Tu Ky, Gia Loc, Ninh Giang, Thanh Ha, Kinh Mon, and Chi Linh city.
