It is expected that Vietnam Railways Corporation (VNR) will open group ticket sales for the 2024 Lunar New Year from 8:00 a.m. on October 15-22.

Accordingly, priority subjects for selling train tickets to groups are units of the people's armed forces, universities, colleges, industrial parks, export processing zones, social organizations, and units in the railway industry.

Regarding the number of group ticket registrations, customers can register for both outbound and return trips, each trip from 5 tickets or more.

Units registering to buy group tickets for Tet 2024 can go to the stations to register to buy tickets, bring a letter of introduction, a list of train tickets purchased and a summary table of departure and return trips.

The list must clearly and accurately state the full name, phone number, and identification number of the passengers; one of the following documents may be used: citizen identification card, birth certificate of children under 14 years old...

When needing to get a value added tax (VAT) invoice, customers need to provide accurate information about the unit name, address, and tax code to create an electronic invoice.

Currently, on the North-South railway route, there are 4 pairs of Thong Nhat trains SE1/SE2, SE3/SE4, SE5/SE6, SE7/SE8; one pair of Saigon-Nha Trang trains SNT1/SNT2, one pair of Saigon-Da Nang trains SE21/SE22 and one pair of Saigon-Phan Thiet trains SPT1/SPT2.

During holidays and Tet, the railway industry will run dozens of additional trains on routes to meet people's travel needs.
