Railway industry opens ticket sales for many routes during the summer

From today, March 24, the railway industry will open ticket sales for the Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City route in the summer of 2025.

Accordingly, the railway industry organizes regular operation of 5 pairs of Thong Nhat trains between Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City and vice versa, including: SE1/SE2, SE3/SE4, SE5/SE6, SE7/SE8, SE9/SE10.

For regional trains, the Hanoi - Vinh route has the NA1/NA2 train pair; Hanoi - Dong Hoi runs the QB1/QB2 train pair; Hanoi - Da Nang runs the high-quality SE19/SE20 train pair; Ho Chi Minh City - Da Nang runs the SE21/SE22 train pair; Ho Chi Minh City - Quy Nhon runs the SE30/SE29 train pair; Ho Chi Minh City - Nha Trang runs the SNT2/SNT1 train pair; Ho Chi Minh City - Phan Thiet runs the SPT2/SPT1 train pair. The Da Nang - Hue route runs 2 pairs of "Heritage Connection" trains daily, HD1/2, HD3/4.

In addition, the railway industry applies many ticket discount policies. Specifically, passengers who buy train tickets that meet the conditions for buying round-trip tickets will receive a 5% discount on the ticket price at the same time for the return round-trip ticket. In case of group tickets of 20 people or more, if purchased 1-19 days in advance, the ticket price will be discounted from 3-7%; if purchased 20 days in advance or more, the ticket price will be discounted from 5-9%, depending on the group size.

Passengers who buy individual tickets for the following train pairs: SE1/SE2, SE3/4, SE5/SE6, SE7/SE8, SE9/SE10 (distance ≥ 900km); SE21/22 (distance ≥ 600km); SE29/30 (distance ≥ 400km) and SNT1/2 (distance ≥ 300km) 20-39 days before departure will receive a 5% discount on the ticket price; 40 days or more before departure will receive a 10% discount on the ticket price. With this policy, the number of tickets is limited on each train (20 tickets/seat type), not applicable to 4-bed compartment seats on SE3, SNT1/2, SPT1/2.

Passengers should note that if they buy tickets close to the departure date (2 days or less before the departure date), the ticket price will increase by 5 - 7%.
