In the first days of 2024, despite the cold and often gloomy weather in the early morning, there were times when Lang Co Bay and Lap An Lagoon still possessed different beauty and nuances that attracted the attention of passersby.

Lang Co Bay is 42.5 km long, with clear blue water, fine white sand, and diverse ecosystem.
As one of the famous tourist attractions of Thua Thien - Hue province, Lang Co was considered by King Khai Dinh as a "fairyland". In 2009, Lang Co Bay was voted as the 30th member in the list of "Most beautiful bays in the world" by Worldbays.

All appear in two brilliant colors of turquoise and blue, so charming that everyone wants to stop the car to admire the scenery.
This bay is located in a prime location on the Central Strait. Therefore, it possesses beautiful curves of coastal sand that undulate with each wave.
The best time to explore Lang Co Bay is from April to early August. However, on the first days of the new year (solar calendar), this place still shows a beauty that few places have.
The average annual temperature in Lang Co is 24-25 degrees Celsius, in which winter it can drop to 10 degrees Celsius, in summer it is nearly 40 degrees Celsius. The rainy season usually occurs from September to December, in which the two rainiest months are October and November.
Located right next to Lang Co beach is Lap An lagoon (also known as An Cu lagoon), with an area of about 800 hectares, located near National Highway 1A, passing through Lang Co town, Phu Loc district. This place is likened to "Tuyet Tinh Coc Hue" thanks to its poetic and charming scenery.
The perfect combination of land, sky and lake attracts many young people to Lap An lagoon to explore. Located at the foot of Phu Gia pass, Lap An is surrounded by the majestic Bach Ma mountain range with water color as green as jade at noon, purple as ink at sunset.
As the water recedes, the bottom of the lagoon appears with patches of ivory-white sand. Around there are many boats and rafts, which are also props for tourists to visit and take photos. Throughout 365 days, Lap An lagoon has different beauties and shades. If the high water season and long rains hinder exploration and long journeys, from April to July the weather is clear, sunny and rainless, the mountains and rivers here are even more magical.
