Russia announced successful test launch of intercontinental ballistic missile

The Russian Defense Ministry has announced the successful test launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile from the Kapustin Yar test site, saying the result confirms the high reliability of Russian missiles.

The Russian Defense Ministry's announcement confirmed: "On April 12, from the Kapustin Yar national test site No. 4 in Astrakhan province, the Strategic Missile Forces successfully launched an intercontinental ballistic missile of the ground-based mobile missile system...

The results confirmed the high reliability of the Russian missile in ensuring strategic security. The launch objectives were fully achieved.

The missile launch was carried out as part of state tests of prospective missile systems, as well as confirmation of the stability of the missiles in use.
