According to TASS news agency, the test launch of the Angara-A5 heavy-lift rocket from Russia's Vostochny cosmodrome was canceled at the last minute.
The head of Russia's Roscosmos space corporation, Yury Borisov, said the automation stopped the launch of the Angara-A5 rocket just two minutes before the launch. He said the launch is scheduled to be repeated on April 10.
If it takes place, this will be the first test launch of the Angara rocket from the Vostochny Cosmodrome. Previously, rockets of this type were launched only from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome.
Angara is Russia's next-generation space rocket family, which includes light, medium and heavy-class rockets. The new rocket family uses environmentally friendly propellant components.
