The sudden increase in demand makes the team of air conditioner installation and repair workers always have to work at full capacity. The work is 2-3 times busier than usual, his team of 5-6 workers but always has a full schedule, sometimes working through lunch, only eating and drinking to ensure work progress.

The cost of maintaining an air conditioner ranges from 180,000-400,000 VND depending on the type of machine, size, installation location, etc.

The work is busy, stressful and difficult, but only "in demand" during the hot season, so air conditioner installers and repairers take advantage of the season. For the past few years, at the beginning of summer, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Khanh in Ung Hoe commune (Ninh Giang) and 2 others have taken on the task of installing and repairing air conditioners for households in the district. The demand in rural areas is lower than in the city, mainly for maintenance and repair. Currently, every day, Mr. Khanh and his colleagues repair 4-5 units/day. On average, Mr. Khanh receives 700,000-1.3 million VND in remuneration per day. However, according to Mr. Manh, although the workers have good income, it is not regular because it is only concentrated in 3-4 hot months. In addition, they have to endure a lot of pressure such as time schedule, working in harsh hot weather, often having to climb in high, complicated positions... potentially dangerous, risk of work accidents...

In reality, most customers only seek out repair and maintenance technicians when the air conditioner is broken or has problems, and rarely pay attention to regular maintenance and cleaning.
