"Law enforcement is seeking Robert Card, born April 4, 1983, as a suspect in the shootings at Schemengees Restaurant and Sparetime Recreation bowling alley tonight," the Lewitson, Maine, police department said. At least 22 people were killed and 50-60 injured in shootings on the evening of October 25 at the Schemengees restaurant and Sparetime Recreation bowling alley in Lewitson. The bowling alley is located about 4 miles north of the restaurant.
It was the deadliest shooting in the United States since August 2019, when a gunman targeted shoppers at an El Paso Walmart with an AK-47 assault rifle, killing 23 people.
