Ms. Ho Hong Phuc's family in Gia Xuyen commune (Hai Duong city) has 13 white peach blossom trees.
White peach blossom is a precious flower, previously only appearing sporadically in some mountainous areas in the North such as Mau Son (Lang Son), Sa Pa (Lao Cai), Moc Chau (Son La)... but now it can be grown in Hai Duong.
According to Ms. Ho Hong Phuc in Gia Xuyen commune (Hai Duong city), her family has 13 white peach blossom trees, of which 8 have been sold for 300,000 - 400,000 VND/tree.
The family planted these peach trees 3-4 years ago, using seeds from Lang Son to try planting them. The trees grew and developed well, but this year due to unfavorable weather and hot weather, most of the trees have bloomed by now.
According to some peach growers, white peach blossoms bloom big, have thick petals, and have a faint fragrance, while other peach varieties have no fragrance. The trees are grown in high, well-drained land, and prefer sunlight and light. Most peach growers in Hai Duong only grow pink and light peaches.
