On the afternoon of June 1, Doan Van Hien drowned while looking for pearls on the Sat River in Hai Duong City.

At around 4:30 p.m. on June 1, Doan Van Hien (born in 1985, in Thanh My commune, Thanh Chuong district, Nghe An) and his friends went to the Sat River, through residential area number 9, Tan Binh ward (Hai Duong city) to bathe and dig for mussels. While digging for mussels, unfortunately, Hien drowned.
After discovering the incident, the authorities arrived at the scene to verify and take steps according to regulations. By 9:00 p.m. the same day, after determining that there were no unusual signs, the authorities handed over Mr. Hien's body to his family for funeral arrangements.
