Miss Charm 2023 (Miss International Beauty) is being held for the first time in Vietnam with the aim of promoting culture, tourism and educational activities. The contest was announced in 2019 but had to be postponed twice due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The contest has been repeatedly embroiled in controversy over its unprofessional organization. Many viewers believe that the Miss Charm Organizing Committee, an international beauty pageant, needs to learn more about the organization of other national competitions.
