Induction cooker

Simple cooking habits like covering the pot while cooking or boiling water in a kettle before adding it to the pot will save you a lot of time and energy. In addition to covering the pot while cooking, you need to know exactly how much water is needed to prepare each dish. Adding too much or too little water wastes time, water and energy.

Consider turning off the heat a few minutes before your food is fully cooked. This works great with electric and induction cooktops. Grills take a long time to cook, with many taking up to 10 minutes to cool down. Use this to conserve energy.

Electric stove

Choose the right size and material of pots and pans for cooking on induction cookers and infrared cookers. When you use the right type of pot for the stove, the cooking process will be faster and more energy-saving.

Using a pot with a flat, round bottom that fits the fire ring on the stove will help the heat concentrate and heat the bottom of the pot faster.

About 5 minutes before the food is cooked, turn off the stove. Even though there is no more electricity to the stove, the heat will still radiate and cook the food as you wish, helping to save electricity effectively.

Dishwasher

When buying a new dishwasher, consider buying models that are energy efficient. This will save you money and resources in the process of operating the machine.

Start the wash when the machine is almost full: The amount of water and electricity consumed will not change based on the number of dishes in the machine. Therefore, you should wait until the dishes are full before starting the wash to reduce the frequency of washing. However, avoid overloading the machine, as this can reduce its performance.

Also, you should pour out all leftover food before putting dishes in the dishwasher.

Griller

Dirt can build up on the oven door and hinges, causing the door to not close properly when the oven is running. Energy is wasted as hot air escapes. Therefore, wipe the oven door clean after use to prevent this. This will save you money and energy in the long run. With a little attention to detail, you can avoid this problem.

Microwave oven

When buying a microwave for your family, you should choose a product based on its capacity, power, and function to suit your family's needs. Avoid choosing products with too much power and capacity, which waste a lot of electricity without providing optimal efficiency.

Do not open the microwave door frequently. When closing the door, make sure to close it tightly to prevent heat from escaping. The light should be on continuously.
