On January 3, at Cam Ranh Military Port (Khanh Hoa), the Naval Region 4 Command held a ceremony to send off the working delegation to visit and wish a Happy Lunar New Year 2024 to officers, soldiers, and people working and living on Truong Sa archipelago.
The working trip was attended by nearly 100 reporters from central and local press agencies across the country. Hai Duong province had comrade Pham Hong Hanh, Head of the Propaganda Department of Tu Ky District Party Committee and journalist Nguyen Thi Trung Thu (Hai Duong Newspaper) participating in the working delegation.
Comrade Pham Hong Hanh, Head of the Propaganda Department of Tu Ky District Party Committee, was moved because this was the first time he had been to Truong Sa. Although it would be extremely difficult to get to Truong Sa due to the strong winds and waves, he wished to go there to witness the bravery and determination to overcome all difficulties and successfully complete the task of protecting the homeland's sea and islands and preserving the territorial integrity of the cadres, soldiers and people.
Speaking at the farewell ceremony for the delegation and at the meeting with the delegation before the departure ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Huu Minh, Deputy Political Commissar of Naval Region 4; Comrade Nguyen Tan Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, hoped that the delegation would strive to overcome the storms, bringing deep affection and meaningful Tet gifts from the mainland to the soldiers and people of Truong Sa.
This is a special working trip of journalists bringing affection, spring gifts, and warmth from the mainland to the officers, soldiers, and people of the island.
