Man Utd suffered a crushing defeat against Newcastle

For the first time in 94 years, Newcastle have beaten Man Utd in both matches in a national championship season. The home team may be more determined in this match, as they still have the goal of finishing in the Top 5 to qualify for the Champions League. But the match's developments were enough to show why Newcastle is 10 places above the "Red Devils".

Man Utd were not keen on this match, so they left out a few key players to save their energy for the second leg of the Europa League quarter-finals against Lyon. Therefore, 18-year-old defender Harry Amass started for the first time. Veterans like Victor Lindelof and Christian Eriksen also played from the start. Coach Amorim said he did not care about the criticism. Because the next match on the evening of April 17 is important for Man Utd. The Portuguese coach will use the strongest lineup in that match, and a victory will bring the "Red Devils" to the semi-finals.
