On April 5, Tran Thanh shared Mai's revenue information in the international market. After 2 weeks of showing in North America and Europe, the work earned 2 million USD (about 50 billion VND).
Specifically, in North America, the film earned 1.66 million USD in revenue and in Europe it earned 341,000 USD. The above revenue made Mai the highest-grossing Vietnamese film of all time on two continents.

With this achievement, Tran Thanh's film became the first Vietnamese film to have the highest revenue of all time in two continents.
Launched internationally on March 22, the film "Mai" was shown in nearly 200 theaters in 9 countries and territories such as the US, Canada, UK, Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia... Entering its 3rd week of release, the film currently has a total global box office revenue of 23 million USD.
Previously, the movie "Mai" surpassed "Nha Ba Nu" to become the highest-grossing movie in Vietnam after only 21 days of release with 480 billion VND. After 27 days of release, the movie Mai has reached the 500 billion VND mark. Thus, the Top 3 Vietnamese movies with the highest box office revenue of all time up to this point all belong to director Tran Thanh: "Bo Gia" (427 billion VND), "Nha Ba Nu" (475 billion VND) and "Mai" (520 billion VND).
