New car series launched for Vietnamese customers in June

New cars launched to Vietnamese customers in June are mainly small, popular gasoline cars, electric cars and luxury cars. Popular models such as Kia Sonet, Seltos, Hyundai i10, Mitsubishi Xforce, Lynk & Co 06. Electric cars from popular to luxury such as MG MG4 EV, Audi Q8 e-tron. Finally, the new generation Lexus GX gasoline-powered luxury SUV.

Kia Sonet 2024

Sonet 2024 is a mid-cycle upgrade version launched at the beginning of the month and available at dealerships in mid-June. Kia's A+ high-chassis model has 3 versions, including 1.5 Deluxe priced at 539 million, 1.5 Luxury priced at 579 million and 1.5 Premium priced at 624 million.

In the new version, Sonet 2024 has refined design in the headlight cluster and new style taillight strip. The new appearance is more youthful than its competitors. Kia equips Sonet with a 1.5 engine with 113 horsepower, 4-speed automatic transmission and unchanged safety features compared to the old version.

Hyundai i10 2024

The 2024 i10 A-class model has an upgraded exterior, while the engine and safety features remain unchanged. The sedan model changes the round fog lights on the front bumper with Y-shaped LED daytime running lights, the grille has a larger mesh. The slim LED taillights are connected together. The sedan version is different in the daytime lights and front bumper. The interior has slight changes with a new analog clock panel, integrated with a 3.5-inch LCD screen.

Hyundai equips the i10 2024 with the same 1.2 gasoline engine, 83 horsepower, maximum torque of 114 Nm. Optional 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission.

Kia Seltos Deluxe

The Korean automaker added a Deluxe version to the Seltos 2024 priced at 639 million VND. This price is higher than the standard version (599 million VND) and lower than all other versions. The overall design of the car remains the same as the standard version, except for the headlights and halogen fog lights with additional lenses.

The Deluxe interior has a 10.25-inch entertainment screen (8-inch standard version). The company added automatic brake hold and electronic handbrake features. Automatic air conditioning instead of manual adjustment like the lowest version. The 1.5 engine is standard with 113 horsepower and the same safety features as the lowest version.

Mitsubishi Xforce Ultimate

The Japanese car company launched the highest-end Ultimate version, completing the Xforce product line in Vietnam. Xforce Ultimate costs 705 million VND (single-tone) and 710 million VND (two-tone roof and body).

The appearance of the highest version is similar to other versions, the difference lies in the equipment and features. The highlight is the Yamaha sound system, safety features with Mitsubishi Safety Sensing package, electric trunk, hands-free trunk opening and closing.

Mitsubishi equips the Xforce Ultimate with a 1.5 engine with 104 horsepower and maximum torque of 141 Nm. CVT gearbox, front-wheel drive. Four driving modes, including highway, gravel, mud and flooded.

MG MG4 EV Electric Car

The MG4 EV electric high-chassis model was launched in the Vietnamese market after being displayed at the VMS 2022 auto show. MG4 EV is sold in two versions, Del priced at 828 million VND and Lux ​​priced at 948 million VND, including battery.

The MG4 EV is equipped with an electric motor on the rear axle, with a capacity of 168 horsepower (Del version) and 201 horsepower (Lux version), and a torque of 250 Nm. The low-cost version is equipped with a 51 kWh battery pack with an operating range of 350 km, with a 6.6 kW AC charger with a full charge time of 7.5 hours. The high-end version uses a 64 kWh battery, an operating range of 450 km, with an 11 kW AC charger, fully charged in 6.5 hours. Both support DC fast charging.

Lynk & Co 06 2024

The Chinese brand Lynk & Co 06 high-chassis B-class model was launched in Vietnam with one version, equipped with the most features and technology in the segment. 06 is priced at 729 million VND and is also the second model in the segment to be equipped with a multi-link rear suspension. The Lynk & Co 06 also has the most safety features in the segment.

Strange appearance, meticulous interior with good finishing. The car is equipped with a 1.5 turbocharged engine, 178 horsepower, maximum torque of 290 Nm. The strongest capacity in the gasoline car segment. 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, 4 driving modes.

Audi Q8 e-tron 2024

The Audi Q8 e-tron electric SUV is available in the Vietnamese market starting at VND3.8 billion. The Q8 e-tron has a 55 quattro Advanced version. The car is equipped with two electric motors on each axle, with a capacity of 402 horsepower and a torque of 664 Nm. The Q8 e-tron's battery is a 114 kWh lithium-ion type, with an operating range of 582 km.

The standard 11 kW AC charger in the car takes 10 hours to fully charge the battery, or an optional 22 kW AC charger takes 5 hours. The car supports 170 kW DC fast charging, which charges the battery from 10-80% in 31 minutes. The Q8 e-tron competes with the Mercedes EQE SUV.

Lexus GX 2024

The new generation Lexus GX luxury SUV imported from Japan has two versions, including GX 550 priced at 6.25 billion VND and GX 550 M priced at 6.2 billion VND. The two versions differ in sunroof design, single M version and panoramic.

The new GX 2024 design is different from the old version and is aimed at luxury off-road. The appearance is more square and masculine, as well as increased in size compared to the previous generation. The new chassis is shared with the older brother LX.

The 2024 GX is equipped with a 3.5 V6 twin-turbo engine, 349 horsepower, 650 Nm of torque. The turbocharged engine is also the first on this Lexus model. The strength of the Lexus GX is its off-road capability with many equipment and features.
