From May 7, nursing and general nursing graduates under 35 years old from Hai Duong can apply to work as nurses and caregivers in Japan.
According to the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, qualified candidates will receive 12 months of free Japanese language training provided by the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs in collaboration with a Japanese unit. Nurses will work in Japan for 3 years, and caregivers for 4 years.
During their working time, candidates will take the Japanese national certification exam for nurses and caregivers to have the opportunity to work long-term in this country. As nurses, workers can earn about 38 million VND/month, while caregivers earn more, about 40 million VND.
Participants in the program, in addition to graduating from nursing or general nursing, must have no criminal record and have a health certificate from the competent authority. Nurses must have at least 2 years of experience and be granted a practice certificate according to regulations.
The Overseas Labor Center is the only unit that can implement the program of sending workers to work as nurses and caregivers according to the commitment in the Japan - Vietnam Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA).
