From 2019 to present, Kim Tan commune (Kim Thanh, Hai Duong) has mobilized nearly 85 billion VND to build infrastructure and public works to serve the goal of building advanced new rural areas.
Of which, the provincial budget supported 4.9 billion VND, the district budget supported nearly 32 billion VND, the commune budget nearly 45 billion VND, the rest was contributed by the people. The entire above budget was invested by the commune to build a 3-storey classroom building, 9 rooms, a semi-boarding dining hall of Kim Tan Primary School; renovate route 390E (commune center) to 5 villages in the commune; the commune police office building; install a security camera system in the commune and village centers; outdoor sports and exercise equipment at public places...
Up to now, all traffic routes in Kim Tan commune and village have been paved with asphalt and concrete; 2 schools have met level 2 standards, 1 school has met level 1 standards. In 2023, the average income per capita here will reach 72.25 million VND, the poverty rate will decrease to 0.62%. Kim Tan commune self-assessed that it has met 19/19 criteria for building advanced new rural areas, reaching the target 2 years ahead of schedule.
