An Phat 1 Industrial Park needs to recruit more than 27,000 workers

On the afternoon of October 10, the People's Committee of Nam Sach district (Hai Duong) held a conference to exchange labor market information with investors in An Phat 1 industrial park.

According to statistics, 18 companies expected to start operating in 2024 and the first and second quarters of 2025 in An Phat 1 Industrial Park need more than 27,000 workers. Of which, Biel Crystal Vietnam Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and CE LINK Vietnam Co., Ltd. (electronics industry) have the largest labor demand of more than 10,000 workers/enterprise.

Nam Sach District People's Committee assessed that the district has a fairly abundant labor force, the majority of whom are young workers, with a high proportion of trained workers (83%). Currently, Nam Sach District has nearly 87,000 people of working age, accounting for 66.1% of the population. However, there are still a small number of unemployed workers. There are about 4,000 workers from other provinces working in the district, mainly from Bac Ninh, Thai Binh, Hung Yen, etc.

Investors in the industrial park discussed difficulties and made recommendations in finding, training, and employing workers. Leaders of Nam Sach District People's Committee responded and accepted the recommendations of investors to continue improving the quality of human resources and ensuring labor supply for businesses investing in An Phat 1 Industrial Park.

An Phat 1 Industrial Park has a scale of 180 hectares in the area of ​​3 communes: Quoc Tuan, An Binh, An Lam, and has completed infrastructure construction on an area of ​​100 hectares. The remaining 80 hectares are being urgently completed this year. This is the largest industrial park project in Nam Sach district and is oriented to become a typical high-tech, environmentally friendly industrial park in Hai Duong province. Up to now, An Phat 1 Industrial Park has attracted more than 20 investors to sign memorandums of understanding to lease land with a total expected investment of nearly 500 million USD (10 enterprises have been granted investment certificates and are completing procedures to start construction).
