Do not allow the phenomenon of taking advantage of price increases during the end of the year and Lunar New Year

The provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Finance to strengthen management and monitor market price developments from now until the Lunar New Year; promptly advise on implementing appropriate management measures to stabilize the market and prices, ensure the goals of economic and social development and control inflation.

The Department of Industry and Trade shall strengthen the monitoring and grasping of market information, proactively propose measures to stabilize the market, supply and demand of goods to ensure full and timely response to people's consumption needs during Tet; not to let supply and demand imbalances affect market price developments and people's consumption needs.

The Department of Transport shall strengthen inspection and supervision of the declaration of transport fares, price posting and implementation of listed prices, promptly handle acts of taking advantage of the end of the year to increase transport fares, and cases of failure to declare and post prices according to regulations.

The Provincial Market Management Department strengthens market management, combats smuggling, counterfeit goods and trade fraud, coordinates with relevant units to monitor market price developments, supply and demand of goods, promptly detects and strictly handles violations according to the provisions of law...

The Provincial People's Committee also requested agencies, units and localities to monitor supply and demand developments and market prices, especially at concentrated consumption locations and densely populated areas, to prevent the phenomenon of taking advantage of the end of the year and the Lunar New Year to increase prices, affecting the economy, society and people's lives.
