According to information from Thai Nguyen Provincial Police, the Investigation Police Agency of Pho Yen City Police has decided to prosecute 6 defendants for spreading obscene cultural products in the case of spreading fake news on social networks about a female worker of Samsung Electronics Vietnam Thai Nguyen Company Limited being infected with HIV and infecting 16 colleagues.

The defendants include: Nguyen Duc N., Pham Hong Q., Nguyen Van S., Tran Van T., Nguyen Le H. and Nguyen Ngoc H. (all born in 1995, residing in Thai Nguyen city).

Along with the decision to prosecute, Pho Yen City Police issued an order to temporarily detain four defendants: Nguyen Duc N., Pham Hong Q., Nguyen Van S. and Tran Van T. The two remaining defendants are raising children under 36 months old and are prohibited by the investigation agency from leaving their place of residence.

On July 25, through social media, Nguyen Hong Q. (currently working for Samsung Company) saw 2 videos with obscene and pornographic content, including information and images of a woman working at Samsung Company infecting many people with HIV.

Q. used the company's internal account to search for and take a portrait photo of his female colleague, CTD, and shared her personal information on the "Storyboard" group on Zalo.

10 minutes later, Q. withdrew the information, but the image had quickly spread on social networks. In addition to Q., the other 5 people also shared videos with pornographic and depraved content in the group.

Regarding the health condition of the female CTD employee, Yen Binh General Hospital performed biochemical tests and concluded that this girl was not infected with HIV.
