On the morning of September 7, a pilot class of innovative integrated advanced information and communication technology aided by the Korean Ministry of Education opened at the Provincial Center for Continuing Education - Foreign Languages and Information Technology.
Representatives of the Korean Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Education and Training, and leaders of several departments and branches of Hai Duong attended.
This is an activity within the framework of the Vietnam - Korea cooperation program on education and training, application of information technology in education. This classroom model is widely applied in Korea, where education is very developed. After surveying, the Korean Ministry of Education donated equipment to help pilot the innovative classroom model applying advanced information and communication technology at the Center for Continuing Education - Foreign Languages, Information Technology of the province. This is The first creative class applying information technology in Hai Duong and one of the few classroom models in the country to receive aid from the Korean Ministry of Education.
The classroom has a capacity of about 35 students, equipped with synchronous information technology equipment with full modern functions. The devices have many smart features combining images, videos, cameras, sounds, texts, charts... to maximally support the teaching and learning process, promoting multi-sensory. Documents are provided through many information channels to help students be active, proactive, creative, infer, learn interactively, discuss in groups, experiment virtually, write stories, make films right in class, easily apply interdisciplinary knowledge, increase opportunities to connect to online schools.
Speaking at the ceremony, a representative of the Ministry of Education and Training thanked Korea for supporting the development of a pilot model of creative classrooms. At the same time, he believed that the model would support the development of new teaching methods based on modern technology, helping educational institutions effectively apply information technology to teaching.
Mr. Do Duy Hung, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Hai Duong, emphasized that he will direct relevant units to soon deploy the operation plan, make the most of the donated equipment; participate in training courses in Vietnam and Korea to exchange and learn; strive to make the smart classroom at the Center for Continuing Education - Foreign Languages, Information Technology of the province operate effectively and become a typical center to spread and replicate in Hai Duong and other localities in the country.
At the ceremony, delegates cut the ribbon to open the classroom and unveiled the signboard at the sponsored project room. Immediately after, students and teachers of the center had their first sample lesson in the classroom with a Korean expert.
