According to Mr. Hoang The Ngu, Chairman of the Vietnam Gemstone Association, Vietnam's gemstone market has great potential as it possesses rich geological resources and many gemstone mines with diverse types and high quality such as ruby, sapphire, spinel, aquamarine, topaz...
Among them are some famous gemstone mining areas including: Quy Chau (Nghe An), Luc Yen (Yen Bai), Gia Lai. Gemstone mines in Vietnam are assessed to have large reserves, meeting long-term mining needs.
Vietnam is increasingly focusing on investing in modern mining and processing technology to help improve product quality and optimize production processes.
Therefore, IJV 2024 is a reliable destination for connecting trade, finding partners, expanding professional training programs, etc., contributing to ensuring the quality of gemstone processing is increasingly improved, as well as enhancing market integration for both production units, organizations and individuals in the industry.
The report of the Vietnam Gemstone Association also shows that the demand for gemstones in the country is increasing, especially in the field of jewelry and feng shui. Particularly in the field of export, Vietnam has been expanding the gemstone market to many countries such as Japan, Thailand; European countries and the US.
