Opening of the 1st Sa Dec Flower and Ornamental Festival in 2023

With the theme "Love of the land - Love of flowers", the first Sa Dec Flower and Ornamental Festival in 2023 takes place from December 30, 2023 to January 5, 2024, including many attractive and unique activities such as: flower and ornamental art arrangement space; display and exhibition of domestic and international flower and ornamental products; flower and ornamental market; photo exhibition space "Sa Dec past and present"; display and exhibition of ornamental plants; flower lantern decoration; program to recreate the ceremony to honor ancestors and honor the flower and ornamental growing profession of Sa Dec...

Speaking at the opening of the event, comrade Le Quoc Phong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized that the first Sa Dec Flower and Ornamental Festival in 2023 is an opportunity for Dong Thap province to introduce more fully and comprehensively to friends near and far about the potential, strengths, and unique beauty of Sa Dec flowers and ornamental plants.

Within the framework of the Festival, in addition to Sa Dec flowers and ornamental plants, delegates and visitors from inside and outside the province have the opportunity to access products from many famous flower villages in Vietnam, countries with strengths in flowers such as the Netherlands, Thailand, etc. through exhibition booths, talks, and seminars organized on a large and professional scale. Thereby, connecting and promoting the economic value of the flower and ornamental plant industry, bringing Sa Dec flower and ornamental plant products to a new level.

Attending and speaking at the opening ceremony, Comrade Tran Thanh Man, Politburo member, Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Assembly highly appreciated Dong Thap province's initiative to organize the Sa Dec Flower - Ornamental Festival this time.

This is a meaningful cultural and economic event, an opportunity for the Red Lotus Land to promote its tourism brand and attract investment; create conditions for domestic and foreign enterprises to meet, exchange, introduce products, cooperate, bring the flower, ornamental and tourism brand of Dong Thap to meet domestic demand, reaching out to the region and the world.
