Mobilizing all police forces in Hai Duong to respond to rain, floods, and landslides

Faced with the complicated developments of rain and floods in Hai Duong, on September 10, the Director of the Provincial Police Department ordered 100% of the military to focus on overcoming the consequences of storm No. 3 and responding to rain, floods, and landslides.

Implementing the motto of "3 before" (proactive prevention in advance; early detection and handling; prepared means and materials in advance) and "4 on-site" (on-site forces; on-site means and materials; on-site logistics; on-site command), the commune-level police force propagated, mobilized and urgently evacuated people at vulnerable points and communes with dikes to safe places.

The provincial traffic police force coordinates with the commune-level police to strengthen patrols and guard to grasp the situation and developments of dikes, embankments, key points, and recently completed dike repair works, especially culverts across the dikes, promptly detect and notify the authorities for handling. Deploy checkpoints, guide, direct traffic, place warning signs, regulate traffic, ensure traffic safety on key routes and areas, strictly control people and vehicles passing through key points, areas with overflow, deep flooding, fast-flowing water, landslide areas, etc.

Hai Duong Provincial Police also arranged forces to strictly manage the docks, prohibit all vehicles without related tasks from traveling on the dike during flood warnings; verify and promptly handle cases of spreading false information, causing public panic related to the situation of rain, floods, and dikes on social networks to stabilize security and order in the area.
