To check if a bank account is safe for transactions, customers can look it up on the online credit system (tinnhiemmang.vn).
Taking advantage of the development of technology, many bad guys have committed fraud by transferring money through bank accounts to appropriate assets. To support people in looking up fraudulent accounts, the National Cyber Security Monitoring Center (NCSC) has launched a new feature called Look up Accounts on the Internet Trust System (tinnhiemmang.vn).
With this feature, customers can check whether a bank account is fraudulent or not based on a list of accounts that have been reported and strictly censored.
The search includes the following steps:
Step 1: Access the link tinnhiemmang.vn
Step 2: Type in the bank account number you want to look up, the system will return information if that account is on the fraud list according to NCSC statistics. The results include the account holder's name, account number, issuing bank, status (fraud, safe or being verified) and images of the fraud (if any).
To comment, customers enter their opinion in the comment box, leave the name they want to display and click on one of the three voting buttons. Tick the captcha box and click Submit request to complete.
In addition, if a fraudulent account is suspected, the user selects “Report Now” to report the fraudulent account number. The customer needs to provide contact information to support information verification when needed. In addition, information about the account to be reported is required, including account number, account holder, corresponding bank name and additional information such as a link to evidence of fraud. The information will be checked and verified before being approved for display on the account lookup interface.
Thus, with just a few simple steps, people can check and detect fake bank accounts themselves.
