According to the report of the State Bank of Vietnam, as of April 30, 2023, the total outstanding credit balance of the entire banking sector in Hai Duong is estimated at nearly VND 123,430 billion, up 0.3% compared to the end of 2022, up 0.4% compared to the end of March 2023. Outstanding short-term loans increased by 0.8% compared to the end of 2022, up 0.2% compared to the end of the previous month. Outstanding medium- and long-term loans, although down 1.1% compared to the end of 2022, increased 0.9% compared to the end of the previous month.
Of the total outstanding credit, outstanding loans for agricultural and rural development still account for a high proportion with more than VND50,730 billion, followed by outstanding loans for small and medium enterprises with more than VND21,410 billion. In addition, according to the review of the State Bank of Vietnam provincial branch, outstanding credit for real estate business activities accounts for about 7% of total outstanding loans, corporate bond investment accounts for less than 0.1% of total outstanding loans. This shows that bank credit is mainly focused on production, business, priority areas, with strict control over areas with potential risks.
At the same time, the total mobilized capital of the entire banking industry is estimated at VND 173,710 billion, up 5.8% compared to the end of 2022, up 0.6% compared to the end of last month. More than 89% of the total mobilized capital comes from residential deposits.
