After 4 exciting days, the 2024 Hai Duong Province 'Golden Rice' Volleyball Tournament ended with the first prize belonging to the Tu Ky District Farmers' Association team.
On the morning of November 26, the 13th Hai Duong Province "Golden Rice" Volleyball Tournament - Agribank Cup 2024 ended with the final match between the Tu Ky District Farmers' Association team and the Gia Loc District Farmers' Association team. As a result, the Tu Ky District team overwhelmingly defeated the Gia Loc District team with a score of 3-0.
The organizing committee awarded first prize to the Tu Ky District Farmers' Association team, Gia Loc District Farmers' Association won second prize, and Binh Giang District Farmers' Association won third prize.
The Organizing Committee awarded the best athlete award to Mr. Nguyen Minh Hieu (Farmers Association of Tu Ky district); the best young athlete award to Mr. Nguyen Nhu Mung (Farmers Association of Gia Loc district).
According to the organizers, the 12 volleyball teams participating in this year's tournament have high technical expertise, good physical strength, and have invested a lot of time and effort in training before the tournament. The matches received enthusiastic cheers from a large audience, creating a vibrant atmosphere, affirming the strong development of the grassroots sports movement, becoming a need for a large number of members and farmers.
The 13th Hai Duong Province "Golden Rice" Volleyball Tournament - Agribank Cup 2024 took place from November 23 with the participation of 148 athletes and coaches from 12 Farmers' Association teams from districts, towns and cities. The teams were divided into 4 groups, each group of 3 teams competed in a round robin to select the winning team in each group to compete in the semi-finals and finals.
The 'Golden Rice' volleyball tournament is held every two years. However, due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the 2022 tournament had to be postponed.
