This year's An Thanh Commune (Tu Ky) fishing festival is held on National Day, September 2nd.

The new feature of this year's festival is that it takes place on the T6 river (from Ong Nhac culvert to Cho culvert) next to the main road of An Thanh commune, different from previous years at the Soi culvert area.

The organizers will award first, second, third prizes and many secondary prizes such as the person who catches the most fish, the oldest participant, the female participant who catches the most fish, to encourage the participants.

This is the fourth year the locality has organized this activity to create a playground for the people, preserve a unique profession that has been associated with the people here for decades and promote agricultural products of An Thanh commune such as earthworms, organic rice, etc.

This year's fishing festival is expected to attract thousands of people from inside and outside the district to participate in fishing, watch and cheer.
