On the morning of April 2, at the memorial house of Vice President Nguyen Luong Bang in Dong village, Thanh Tung commune, Thanh Mien District Party Committee organized a political and ideological meeting with the theme "Journey to the red address".
This is an activity to celebrate the 120th anniversary of the birth of comrade Nguyen Luong Bang (April 2, 1904 - April 2, 2024).
In a solemn atmosphere, delegates, people and students offered incense and fresh flower baskets to express their respect and gratitude to the spirit of Vice President Nguyen Luong Bang.
At the meeting, more than 600 delegates learned about the life and career of comrade Nguyen Luong Bang through valuable documents provided by the Hai Duong Provincial Museum. Vice President Nguyen Luong Bang (April 2, 1904 - July 20, 1979) was from Dong village, Thanh Tung commune, Thanh Mien district (Hai Duong). Comrade Nguyen Luong Bang participated in revolutionary activities from December 1925, often using the aliases Anh Ca, Sao Do. From the early days of the country's founding, comrade Nguyen Luong Bang was assigned by the Party and State many important missions such as being the first General Director of the National Bank of Vietnam; the first Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam to the Soviet Union; Inspector General of the Government; Head of the Central Inspection Committee.
