In 2022, Okayama University of Natural Sciences and Frontier Institute of Science and Technology, Japan came here to introduce the application of "Geomagnetic Field Archaeology" and "Magnetic Stone" in Japan.
These applications help Quang Nam province determine the age of terracotta artifacts as well as support the research process of temperature, firing environment, exploration of relics and artifacts still preserved underground to support Vietnam's in-depth research on My Son Temple Complex.
This is the first time Japanese Crown Prince Fumihito Akishino has visited My Son Sanctuary, Quang Nam Province.
In particular, the strong mark of Japan at My Son Temple Complex is the My Son Museum. This is a project funded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) with 54 billion VND to be built in 2005. The My Son Museum is a place to display sculptures excavated in My Son and a miniature model of the entire My Son Temple Complex.
