Completed the first wiring package of the 500kV line project, circuit 3

This is the first bid package of the entire 500kV line project, circuit 3, to complete the wire pulling work, 7 days ahead of the investor's schedule. Previously, many anchor sections of the 500kV line project, circuit 3, had completed wire pulling, but no bid package had been completed.

The 500kV Nam Dinh I - Thanh Hoa power line project is approximately 74.4 km long, passing through the provinces of Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh, and Thanh Hoa. The project has 180 pole foundation locations and has basically completed the pole erection work and is currently organizing the wire pulling.

Mr. Le The Hanh - Director of Phuong Hanh Company Limited - the contractor of package 39 said: The package is located in Nga Son district (Thanh Hoa province) including 16 foundation locations (from location 67-82A), corresponding to 6 km.

In the past time, with the close direction of Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN), National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) and the drastic participation of the local authorities of Nga Son district, the authorities of the communes where the power line passes through and the people where the project passes through in handing over the site early, the unit has quickly approached the location for immediate construction. In addition, each officer and employee of the Company has clearly identified the nature and importance of the project, so they have mobilized the maximum force, working 3 shifts, 4 shifts, 24/7, through holidays, and holidays, while organizing reasonable construction measures from digging and casting the foundation to erecting the poles, so the plan has been completed ahead of schedule.

Mr. Le The Hanh added: After completing the wire pulling of package No. 39, the entire construction force of this package will be mobilized to reinforce other column positions of the Construction Company. The unit is determined to immediately pull the wire for each column anchoring interval to be completed and is determined to complete 6 packages (corresponding to 94 column positions) before June 30, 2024 to meet the set target.

This is a practical action of Phuong Hanh Company Limited in strictly implementing the Prime Minister's direction for the 500kV line project, circuit 3, from Quang Trach to Pho Noi: "Only work, no retreat, overcome the sun and rain, eat quickly, sleep urgently".

Mr. Nguyen Van Dung - Chairman of Nga Giap Commune People's Committee, Nga Son District, Thanh Hoa Province said: After receiving the Prime Minister's direction on the implementation of the 500kV line 3, the leaders of Thanh Hoa province and Nga Son district directed Nga Giap commune to immediately take action. After organizing propaganda and mobilization about the importance of the Project, all people in the commune immediately supported it and after exactly 1 month, the entire project site in the commune was handed over to the investor. The Party Committee, government and people of Nga Giap commune always comply with the State's policies, agree and support the electricity industry for the goal of national energy security.

EVNNPT Deputy General Director Luu Viet Tien said: The 500kV line project, circuit 3, Nam Dinh I - Thanh Hoa Thermal Power Plant, has more favorable conditions when the Prime Minister approved the investment policy earlier and started construction nearly 3 months earlier than the remaining 3 sections of the entire 500kV line, circuit 3. Along with that, the construction process has always received consensus and support from the local authorities of the 3 provinces where the project passes. Therefore, up to now, the project has completed the pole erection and is pulling the wires for 46/74 anchoring intervals (reaching about 62%). With the current progress, the 500kV line project, Nam Dinh I - Thanh Hoa Thermal Power Plant, will meet the progress target assigned by the Prime Minister to finish in June 2024.

The completion of the first wire pulling package of the 500kV line project, circuit 3, is of great significance and is a motivation for other units to actively strive with the highest determination to bring the project to the finish line.
