On October 15, JW Korean Hospital (Ho Chi Minh City) announced that it had just received a patient named VSN (30 years old, Hanoi) who came for examination with a black nose, a bumpy nose bridge showing many signs of infection.

His nose was also constantly tense and painful. When he touched it, he could even feel each thread sticking out. After that, Mr. N. went to Ho Chi Minh City to have the thread examined and removed.

Through clinical examination and imaging diagnosis, Dr. Nguyen Phan Tu Dung, General Director of JW Hospital Korea, said that the patient's nose was seriously infected due to the threads stuck to the muscle tissue, the tip of the nose was about to be punctured, there were bruises and the threads had to be immediately removed before necrosis.

As soon as the nose was dissected, the doctors saw a tangled mass of threads inside, obscuring the entire surgical field. Doctor Tu Dung meticulously removed each thread one by one, avoiding affecting the internal tissues and preserving the structure of the nose. After 2 hours of surgery, the surgical team removed the entire mass of hundreds of threads tightly woven in the patient's nose, promptly saving the healthy nose.

Dr. Nguyen Phan Tu Dung said that the hospital received many emergency patients with dangerous complications such as nasal deformities, necrotic infections, permanent curved noses that cannot be recovered... after undergoing a nose lift.
