Hai Duong organizes the third reading culture ambassador contest

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Hai Duong province reading culture ambassador contest 2024 will be held in schools in April and May and divided into 2 age groups. Group 1 is for primary and secondary school students. Group 2 is for high school students.

Participating in the contest, students choose one of two topics related to books, characters in their favorite books they have read, and present their own experiences and initiatives to develop their own reading culture and spread it in the community.

The Organizing Committee will judge the awards in June and is expected to award prizes in September. After the provincial competition, the Organizing Committee will select 6 entries to participate in the final round of the national reading culture ambassador competition. The closing and honoring ceremony is expected to be held in October in Viet Tri City (Phu Tho).

Hai Duong will organize a reading culture ambassador contest on a province-wide scale from 2021 (except for 2023). This is the third time Hai Duong has organized this contest.

In 2022, there were more than 34,000 entries, 47 authors won provincial prizes. The province had 5 individuals winning the 2022 National Reading Culture Ambassador contest.
