According to the Department of Justice, by the end of September 2024, Hai Duong had completed digitizing 100% of civil status data.

By the end of September 2024, Hai Duong had completed digitizing 100% of civil status data with 1,974,873 civil status registration cases, ensuring progress. All civil status data is stored on the shared Civil Status system managed by the Ministry of Justice.

Digitizing civil status data helps overcome the cumbersome storage and preservation of civil status records in the traditional way. When citizens request a civil status extract, civil servants only need to look up data on the Electronic Civil Status Database.
