Hai Duong enhances the ability to apply information technology to control robots for high school teachers

On September 21 and 22, the Department of Education and Training coordinated with Sao Do University to train teachers of 55 high schools in Hai Duong province in applying information technology to control robots.

The training course attracted 165 teachers of informatics, physics, and industrial technology.

Teachers are introduced to and learn about types of robots; learn about the basic structure of robots; design and manufacture mechanical parts on Autocad software, choose mechanical materials; design and manufacture electrical parts; program robot controls; experiment with installing moving mechanisms for robots, test running and calibrating robots...

The training course aims to meet the needs of teaching Stem in the digital age, contributing to the effective implementation of the new general education program 2018, helping high school students get acquainted with robotics technology and artificial intelligence; at the same time aiming to organize the first robocon competition in the whole province for high school students.

The qualifying round of the 1st Hai Duong Province Robocon Competition in 2023, with the theme "Travel Journey to the East", will begin. from October 15-20. The final round and award ceremony will be held in early November this year.
