At the 23rd Session of the 17th Hai Duong Provincial People's Council, the Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee reported on the results of citizen reception, complaint and denunciation settlement, and anti-corruption work in the first 6 months of the year; key tasks for the last 6 months of 2024.
According to the report, in the first 6 months of the year, Hai Duong province discovered and prosecuted 12 cases of corruption. The investigation and handling results in 5 cases being prosecuted, 7 cases are under investigation. The assets damaged by corruption and negativity discovered were over 6.6 billion VND; the assets of corruption and negativity recovered were over 1.9 billion VND.
During the same period, through inspection and examination, the whole province discovered economic violations of nearly 34 billion VND, of which, recommendations for recovery were over 12.2 billion VND, recommendations for other handling were over 21.6 billion VND); administrative fines were imposed on over 3.7 billion VND.
