Hai Duong urgently builds a shared data warehouse to serve administrative reform

That was the direction of comrade Nguyen Minh Hung, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee for Administrative Reform of Hai Duong province at the first meeting of the Steering Committee on the afternoon of August 31.

The conference listened to the leaders of the Hai Duong Department of Home Affairs announce the decisions of the Provincial People's Committee on the establishment of the Provincial Administrative Reform Steering Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Steering Committee); Decision to promulgate the Steering Committee's operating regulations; Decision to establish the Steering Committee's Working Group; report on the results of administrative reform work in the first 7 months of the year, directions and tasks for the last months of the year.

The Steering Committee members focused on discussing and clarifying tasks and operating regulations; results and limitations in implementing administrative reforms; and identifying solutions to promote administrative reforms.

Comrade Nguyen Minh Kha, Deputy Director of Hai Duong Department of Information and Communications, spoke to clarify some contents related to building e-government and digital government.

Concluding the meeting, comrade Nguyen Minh Hung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, agreed to merge the Working Group to assist the Steering Committee for scoring administrative reforms into the Working Group to assist the Provincial Steering Committee for administrative reforms, on the basis of adding additional functions, tasks and members.

Regarding the results of administrative reform in the first 7 months of 2023, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that the advisory agencies clarify the subjective and objective causes of these limitations in implementing administrative reform tasks, and propose specific solutions to improve the ranking in 2023. Clarify responsibilities in coordination work. Enhance spirit and responsibility to more effectively implement administrative reform. Improve the quality of online public services, and have support solutions for people to conveniently carry out administrative procedures.

The assigned units need to urgently build a shared data warehouse, ensure data security and network security. Seriously review overdue administrative procedure settlement records. Continue to review and cut unnecessary administrative procedures...

In the first 7 months of this year, the People's Committee of Hai Duong province has carried out 86/90 administrative reform tasks. The rate of digitization of records in the whole province has reached over 99%. The whole province has reduced 1 branch under the department and established 1 specialized department under the Department of Science and Technology; merged 2 public service units into 1 unit, Hai Duong University. In building e-government, Hai Duong's Digital Transformation Index has increased by 1 rank, rising to rank 13th out of 63 provinces and cities nationwide.
