According to newly collected information from the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Hai Duong currently has more than 12,600 workers working in craft villages. Binh Giang district currently has the largest number of workers working in craft villages in the province with nearly 2,900 people, followed by Gia Loc, Nam Sach and Cam Giang districts. Currently, Tu Ky and Gia Loc districts still maintain the most craft villages in the province (each district has 11 craft villages). The income of craft village workers is from 4-8 million VND/person/month. Currently, the number of young workers in craft villages in the province is decreasing because their income is not as high as that of workers in enterprises.
