The Oolong tea plantation of Tang Vinh An in Bao Lam, Lam Dong has rows of purple tea flowers as beautiful as paintings. Many young people come here to admire and take pictures.
In recent days, a photo series taken next to a purple flower stall by Ms. Bui Kim Ngan (32 years old, Bao Loc City, Lam Dong) has made many people excited.
Ms. Ngan said that the photo series was taken at the end of December 2024 at the Oolong Tang Vinh An farm and the Phu Sy tea farm. These two farms are close to each other and located in Loc Quang commune, Bao Lam district, Lam Dong province.
Before that, Ms. Ngan saw photos and videos of purple flowers bought at Oolong Tang Vinh An farm shared by her friends. Seeing the beautiful flowers, she and her friend in Ho Chi Minh City went to take pictures.
“The road is paved with asphalt and concrete, so it’s not difficult to drive. Cars can go all the way there, but the last few hundred meters into the tea hill are dirt roads, a bit muddy if it rains,” Ms. Ngan instructed.
On the way to the farm, from afar, Ms. Ngan saw rows of purple mua flowers among the green of the tea hills. When walking between two rows of mua flowers stretching out, she felt like she was lost in a fairy tale world.
The day Ms. Ngan came to take pictures, some young people also came here to take pictures. Because the area is large, each group found a different angle to take pictures so as not to affect others.
Ms. Ngan said: “The farm is open for visitors to visit and check-in freely. The tea pickers here happily chat with us.
In response to their hospitality, we and those who come to take pictures try to maintain public hygiene. I hope that young people who come later will not litter, keep the landscape clean and beautiful, and not affect the farm."
Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuong Vy, Deputy Director of Tang Vinh An Company, said that the purple mua flowers were planted by the farm 4 years ago. People take care of the flowers as carefully as they take care of Oolong tea plants. Thanks to that, the mua flowers here bloom beautifully and are less susceptible to pests and diseases.
“Everyone plants more mua flowers and wallflowers to make the farm more beautiful. This year, mua flowers are blooming, but wallflowers have not bloomed yet.
Thai flowers bloom all year round, but they only bloom in full force in April and December every year. Each blooming period lasts about 45-50 days,” Vy shared.
Ms. Vy commented that the young people who came to the farm to take pictures had a very good sense of responsibility, lining up their vehicles neatly and not obstructing the tea harvest.
“On weekends, there are a lot of people coming, especially at 10am. At that time, the flowers are blooming and the sun is beautiful, and there are also tea harvesters who are very happy to talk to,” Ms. Vy excitedly shared.
Ms. Vy feels proud that the scenery at the farm is loved by many people. In addition to the purple tea shop, young people coming here can admire the green Oolong tea hills and breathe the fresh air.
