Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya has officially won the 2023/2024 Premier League Golden Glove award for the goalkeeper with the most clean sheets of the season.
Before the match between Arsenal and Bournemouth on the evening of May 4, David Raya was guaranteed to win the 2023/2024 Premier League Golden Glove award for having the most clean sheets of the season with 14 matches without conceding a goal.
However, Raya could still have to share the title with Jordan Pickford if the England goalkeeper keeps two more clean sheets and Raya concedes in all remaining matches of the season.
However, Arsenal's 3-0 win over Bournemouth helped Raya reach 15 clean sheets this season, thereby officially claiming the Premier League Golden Glove award 2023/2024.
Last summer, Raya joined Arsenal on loan from Brentford. The goalkeeper had many excellent matches to help Arsenal still compete with Man City for the title.
However, fans still remember Raya more for his "silly" mistakes that led to the Gunners' defeat, most recently the loss against Tottenham.
Arsenal still have 2 more matches in the 2023/2024 Premier League and Raya can completely reach 17 clean sheets, equal to David De Gea's (MU) achievement last season.
