From 3:00 p.m. today, June 6, the price of E5 RON92 gasoline decreased by 618 VND/liter, RON95-III gasoline decreased by 542 VND/liter, diesel decreased by 325 VND/liter, kerosene decreased by 374 VND/liter and fuel oil decreased by 253 VND/kg.
According to the decision of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance, the prices of petroleum products will decrease from 3:00 p.m. today, June 6.
Specifically, the price of E5 RON92 gasoline decreased by 618 VND/liter, to 21,141 VND/liter; RON95-III gasoline decreased by 542 VND/liter, the new price is 21,977 VND/liter. Diesel oil price also decreased by 325 VND, to 19,422 VND/liter; kerosene decreased by 374 VND, to 19,557 VND/liter and fuel oil decreased by 253 VND, the new price is 17,285 VND/kg.
The joint ministries decided not to set aside and not to use the Price Stabilization Fund (BOG) for petroleum products.
A representative of the Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) said that as of the time before the price adjustment, the BOG Fund balance at the enterprise was 3,077 billion VND, remaining the same in the last 3 announcement periods.
Previously (May 30), the price of E5 RON92 gasoline decreased by VND518/liter; RON95-III gasoline decreased by VND694/liter and diesel oil decreased by VND/liter. In contrast, the price of kerosene increased by VND29/liter and fuel oil increased by VND25/kg.
